Objectives

To gather leading initiatives in the area of language resources and tools to discuss data management trends and challenges, available and planned services, and opportunities for collaboration in the context of emerging digital single market promoted by the European Commission. The workshop aims to identify opportunities for collaboration both at European and global level.

Agenda and Speakers

Several experts in the field of language resources, tools and digital humanities will present their views on discussion papers about data management and infrastructures.

Participation is free of charge but subject to on-line registration. Please select "e-Infrastructures & RDA for data intensive science 09:00 - 18:00" and choose "5 Data & Computing infrastructures for Global Linguistic Resources", to be registered to attend this session. Everyone from the CLARIN community is warmly welcomed to attend this meeting and to take part in the discussion.

Context

This is one of 5 parallel sessions at the e-Infrastructures & RDA for data intensive science workshop. The workshop takes place just before the 6th RDA Plenary (23-25 September) and after the EPIC and DataCite meeting (21 September).
