Announcement
On May 27th, 2009 the Kick-Off meeting of the CLARIN-NL project will be held in Utrecht.
CLARIN-NL is a large national project in the Netherlands which aims to play a central role in the Europe-wide CLARIN infrastructure design, implementation and exploitation.
The meeting is intended for researchers from the Netherlands who are interested in and/or want to participate in CLARIN-NL.
Registration is closed
At the meeting, presentations will be held on the CLARIN-NL project itself, on the relation with the European CLARIN project and on examples of technology and data that the CLARIN infrastructure will support.
An important part of the meeting is dedicated to the launching and clarification of a Call for Proposals for demonstrator and resource curation projects for which financial and other forms of support will be available.
We end the meeting with a drink.

On May 27th, 2009 the Kick-Off meeting of the CLARIN-NL project was held in Utrecht.
CLARIN-NL is a large national project in the Netherlands which aims to play a central role in the Europe-wide CLARIN infrastructure design, implementation and exploitation.
The meeting was intended for researchers from the Netherlands who are interested in and/or want to participate in CLARIN-NL.
We were happy to see that more than 60 participants participated in this kick-off meeting in which the CLARIN-NL project was initiated, in the very pleasant venue of the church of the "Evangelisch-Lutherse Gemeente".
At the meeting, chaired by Hans Bennis, presentations have been held on the CLARIN-NL project itself, on the relation with the European CLARIN project.
Colleagues from the Meertens Institute, MPI and INL held interesting presentations on examples of technology and data that the CLARIN infrastructure will support.

This call will open officially on June 2, 2009 and information on it will be available on the CLARIN-NL website here
The Kick-off meeting was preceded by the first common meeting of the recently installed CLARIN-NL Executive Board, Board, and National Advisory Panel.
