CALL for PARTICIPATION: Talk of Europe - Travelling CLARIN Campus

The Talk of Europe – Travelling CLARIN Campus project aims to instigate pan-European collaboration by organising three international creative camps in 2014 and 2015. This project is conducted within the framework of CLARIN (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure), which aims to equip scholars in the humanities and social sciences with easy and sustainable access to digital language data through advanced tools. Van 12:15 tot 12:35 geeft Hans Bennis een lezing: " Digitale geesteswetenschappen zijn niet te stoppen ". NWO Site visit voor CLARIAH-aanvraag

Op dinsdag 11 februari 2014 heeft een delegatie van de NWO-commissie Nationale Roadmap Grootschalige Onderzoeksfaciliteiten een site visit bij CLARIAH afgelegd om de aanvraag nader te bespreken. Deze site visit vond plaats in het Trippenhuis te Amsterdam. CLARIAH is dus nog volop in de race! Two New Members CLARIN-NL Consortium

CLARIN-NL is pleased to welcome to the Consortium two new members: Utrecht University Library and the Netherlands Institute for Art History (RKD). As part of the Call 4 project Rembench, the RKD will contribute to the development of a digital workbench for Rembrandt research. A number of resources centred around the life and art of Rembrandt van Rijn will be connected to an initial version of the Rembrandt Documents (RemDoc) database as well as with a standard university library catalogue.
